Alaska Salmon Migration: The Waterfall

During their migration up the rivers of Southeast Alaska to spawn, salmon must navigate many challenging waters. This mighty waterfall is their biggest obstacle on this particular river. This recording captures the beautiful sound of this majestic water feature, with a small riffle in the foreground, and the deep rumble of the main waterfall in the background. Splashing salmon can occasionally be heard as well, as they search for a way to approach the difficult task at hand. This soundtrack is ideal for relaxation, meditation, or sleep.
